7th grader, Baylee Howard will be representing Corinth Middle School in three State Competitions.
She will compete, Saturday, March 24th in Jackson at the State Math Counts Competition. Baylee placed 5th in the regional Math Counts competition in Oxford earning an invitation to the state competition for her individual score. The Corinth Middle School Team placed third in the regional competition.
Baylee also won the Corinth Middle School Geography Bee and took a test, which qualified her for her second state competition, the State Geography Bee in Jackson on Friday, March 30.
Baylee's third state competition will be the State MCTM math competition on Saturday, March 31 in Jackson. She received second place at the regional MCTM Math Competition at Northeast Mississippi Community College which qualified her for the State MCTM math competition. Corinth Middle School was the Overall School Winner at the regional MCTM math competition competing against 22 other schools.
